I'm Ercan ULKUR, an entrepreneur based in Lisbon, Portugal.

Originally from Türkiye and based in Lisbon, I manage Segmentworld’s day-to-day TVDE operations: vehicle coordination, driver relationships and the documentation that keeps operations moving.

That firsthand experience informs my work as a co-founder of Motorista: turning fragmented processes into a clearer way for drivers, vehicle owners and licensed operators to work together.

Motorista

A platform in development for Portugal’s ride-hailing sector (TVDE), designed to bring drivers, vehicle owners and licensed operators into one workflow.

IN DEVELOPMENT

THE PROBLEM: Finding the right vehicle or driver is only the beginning. Verification, agreements and operational responsibilities are often spread across separate conversations and processes.
THE APPROACH: We are developing a shared journey for discovery, verification, matching and contracts, with clearer responsibilities for all three parties.
MY ROLE: Co-founder and investor, contributing industry knowledge, business development and partner relationships.

A Portugal-based TVDE operator coordinating vehicles, drivers and the day-to-day work behind app-based passenger transport.

THE PROBLEM: Vehicle availability, driver onboarding, platform documents and maintenance all need day-to-day coordination.
THE APPROACH: Coordinating vehicles, documentation, maintenance and driver relationships across the operating workflow.
MY ROLE: Company management and hands-on operational coordination, bringing practical challenges into product and partnership decisions.
